The Dunes T20 League 2026 is the first professional franchise T20 competition to be staged in Saudi Arabia. Six city-based teams will contest a 16-match season played entirely under floodlights at Taif Stadium across October 2026, opening a new chapter for the sport in the Kingdom.

The league is built to bring high-profile T20 cricket to Saudi audiences while creating a stage for the game to grow locally. It forms part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programme, which aims to establish Saudi Arabia as a home for world-class sport, tourism and entertainment.

Dunes T20 League 2026 Schedule

The full season runs from 12 to 30 October 2026, with every match played at Taif Stadium. The 15-match league stage is a single round-robin in which each team faces the other five once. The season then closes with the final on 30 October, contested by the leading teams from the league table.

City: Jeddah Representing the Red Sea port city of Jeddah. Squad, owner and captain to be announced.

Dammam Kings

Taif Stadium takes centre stage

Every match of the inaugural Dunes T20 League will be played at Taif Stadium in Saudi Arabia. Taif is a mountain city in the Makkah Province, sitting at altitude and known for its cooler, milder climate, which makes it well suited to evening cricket during October.

Staging the full season at a single venue gives the tournament a clear home base for players, officials and travelling fans, and turns Taif into the focal point of the Kingdom’s first franchise cricket season.
